Sagittarius: Inside a witch’s house. Warm by firewood, a black cat on your lap, soft sounds of a kettle boiling. Magic spells and odors of zany herbs.

Capricorn: A werewolf’s domain. Fire wood scent. Silver light of moon brightens the spot. Buzzing silence, cracking branches, fresh breezes. Lively.

Aquarius: A haunted house full of filmy ghosts. Gentle noises of creaking wood. Streaks of moonlight pierce the shrouds of darkness. Hazy.

Pisces: A graveyard filled with ancient tombstones, misty grounds, the frisky scent of dead leaves… Moonlight lightens the place. Magical.

As if nature itself was enraged at Dr. Rykloff’s experiment, lightning tore through the sky over and over again.  The dome of the laboratory was hammered by waves of rain, making the already featureless landscape fade into even more of a brown and grey blur.

“You’re mad!” Clarice yelled, in what was honestly a bit of unnecessary theatrics.  She pulled against her restraints again, accomplishing nothing other than making her wrists sore.  "You can’t bring them back!“
“Oh but I can!  I can and I have!”  Rykloff gestured to the large metal cubes at one end of the dome, and as if on cue the doors set into one rattled.  "You and the council… and my lawyer… and… well, a lot of people.  You all say I can’t bring them back, can’t return a lost species to life.  None of you seem to care about when I brought back rabbits!“
Clarice rolled her eyes.  "Rabbits are different.  These things are responsible for the destruction of our environment!”
“Bah!  So what if they are?  It’s ruined now, what difference does it make?”
“But the use of resources…”

“No!”  Rykloff yelled, and threw an oversized switch.  The doors on the cubes started to swing open.  "I’ll not hear of your precious resources.  I was there, Clarice!  I was alive back when we could live outside!  You think I don’t know what happened?  But I can still remember… and I will have it again.“
One by one the great beasts stepped out, larger than any animal living in the sealed colony.  One of them turned a rolling, crazy eye towards Clarice.  "Moo,” it said.
“I will have steak again, Clarice.”

Time and space is happening.

Animals lived on ground for only 550,000,000 years, while underwater life existed for billions of years. Also the ground is only 30% of the Earth and height wise it’s only as tall as some tall trees unless you’re flying. Also many places on the ground are deserts and thus don’t have water to support much life.

The ocean on the other hand is 70% of the Earth’s surface, has depths of down to 10+ kms, and most of those depths can support life, so there’s a lot more variety in the types of animals you can see while on the ground most animals stick to 20-30 different basic survival strategies.

Animals and Net Neutrality

For those of you who don’t know, there are hundreds of online teams that work hard every day to find rescues and fosters for dogs and other animals about to be euthanized and killed. My mother is an active member of one of these groups, she saves dozens of dogs and cats each week. We would be unable to afford access to social media if net neutrality was repealed.

They primarily communicate via Facebook.

Hundreds, if not thousands of innocent animals will be KILLED each week unless net neutrality is kept in place.
